Cape Town R260k + 20% profit share A licensed financial services provider, offering a wide range of investment solutions and related financial services products is looking for a Test Analyst who will be responsible for performing systems testing, including the drawing up of test matrices on work as prioritised by the IT department. Skills/Exp: • 2 - 3 yrs relevant exp in a testing environment in a financial organisation • Technical knowledge – must be able to write user queries • SQL exp • Relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably Unit trust or Linked product industry • Relevant testing qualification will be an adv • Client Services Orientation • Strong teamwork skills • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, in English and Afrikaans • Planning and organising • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills • Positive, enthusiastic attitude • Attention to detail Duties: • Analyse system and business specification to provide inputs and estimates • Set up test plans for all types of testing (e.g. system testing, regression testing, performance testing) • Set up test data • System and Integration testing, including database testing • Comprehensive documentation of test results according to standards • Post implementation production support (after care) • Responsible for database inserts into test environments and production • Liaising with development team, system analysts and business analysts on test errors, risks and progress To apply email your CV to Joanne – channelit02@mweb.co.za.
