Certificate in Compliance Management highly recommended Qualification in financial planning or accreditation as a Certified Financial Planner highly recommended. Experience/knowledge A minimum of 3-5 three years financial services industry related experience (e.g. life insurance, investments and retirement funds) is essential to meet FSB approval requirements in terms of FAIS. Experience in a compliance role is essential. In-depth working knowledge of financial services legislation is essential, especially FAIS, FICA, Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, Long Term Insurance Act and the Pension Funds Act.
