The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing any and all written communications / correspondence on behalf of the CEO, which would include standard letters as well as other written content, ranging from monthly Directors Reports to content for Power Point presentations and Business Plans, etc. It is vital, therefore that candidates have an excellent command of the English language and can apply initiative and insightful understanding of projects and business requirements and undertake a certain amount of research as and when necessary, in order to develop a minimal brief into a substantial, effective and meaningful document / correspondence. In addition, the incumbent will offer support to the CEO as a process and administrative assistant - rather than a standard secretarial / PA function - by helping to ensure that all of the Group companies, within their area of responsibility, comply with laws and regulations that have been enacted for the industries where they engage in business activities and help ensure that all processes and requirements are as they should be and are in good order, relative to the many and varied duties and responsibilities that the CEO has. This might include some corporate governance compliance as pertains to Directorship duties; minutes; contractual documents and statutory processes and returns.
