Function: To efficiently and effectively maintain the plant, all machinery, vehicles and premises, reducing breakdowns and improve production throughput. Reporting to : Branch Manager / Managing director. Skills required: Speak, read and write English, Good organizational and planning skills, Computer Literate ( word and excel), Good people and interpersonal skills. Qaulifications Required: Matric with Maths, Millwright Trade Test, at least 7 years maitenance experience, knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors, SHE and ISO 9001:2000. Task Skills Required: Ensure preventative maintenance planned and executed, Report weekly on breakdowns/ maitenance, Plan weekly / annual maintenance, Control stock, Liaise with Projects team on plant upgrades, Manage all staff on plant, Meet production targets, Keep ISO registers and documents up to date, Ensure factory is operating according to QMS, Conduct health and safety audits, Manage security, Comply with all SHEQ policies and procedures, Comply with the Company Qaulity Policy, objectives and regulations. To execute planned and emergency operations and to manage equipment and casual staff. The ideal candidate should have a Matric and a Fire or Emergency Service qualification and at least 3 years experience with Hazardous material operations. Responsibilities Include: Executing emergency and planned operations, maintaining and improving SHE ans ISO 14 000 procedures, Managing equipment and operational efficiencies, compiling incident and operational reports, determining customer needs and requirements, evaluating projetcs and compiling quotes, compiling risk assessments and work instructions. This person should also have intermidiate MS Office Skils, good written, oral and administrative skills, decision making skills and project management skills. If you are meticulous and have the ability to work independently and under pressure then this is the job for you ! |
